Story behind Topic: Pit Bulls in Dog Fights

                        The issue I chose to research is pit bulls being placed in dog fights. My question being asked is should a convicted dog owner own a dog after being caught of a dog fight? This topic has really touched me because I own two dogs and love animals with a passion. When I grow up I want to aim on becoming a veterinarian and possibly work as an animal cop. One of my favorite channels on television is Animal Planet, and my favorite show to watch is Animal Cops: Houston. While watching Animal Cops, I came across an episode about a breeder that raises pit bulls and places them in dog fights and if their dog wins they get a huge pocket of money. This made me furious to find out that people use innocent animals’ pain for their fame. Being a dog lover and caring for them; I want to make an aware of dog fights and put an end to it.
